How does Lintro the B2B Networking App Work?

Lintro, short for ‘Linked Introductions’, helps connect business professionals.

Lintro’s core features are designed to help you become more intentional in your B2B networking journey:

1. Intent-Based Profiles

Everything starts with your Intent Profile. Instead of just listing your job title, you’ll define exactly what you are seeking and what you are providing.

Whether you’re looking for a new partnership or offering specialized consulting, Lintro uses these specific “Lintents”, short for Linked Intentions, to ensure matches are relevant from day one.

2. Curated Daily Drops

Say goodbye to the endless scroll and cold call spam messages.

With Daily Drops, you receive curated professional introductions tailored specifically to your goals.

This allows you to focus on one high-quality opportunity at a time, making it easier to decide where to invest your energy.

3. Tailored Intro Discovery

Lintro isn’t just about matching; it’s about Outcome-focused Introductions. Our intent-engine uses your profile data and intent signals to surface connections that actually align with the matching business goals you set.

We filter out the “fluff” so you can spend less time searching and more time taking the real world connection off the platform.

You have 24 hours in which to accept or decline your introduction, or as we call them “Lintroductions”.

When both professionals accept, you open a conversation window, to schedule a meeting, just online (freemium) or either online or in person (premium/enterprise).

4. The Conversation Layer

Once an introduction is made, Lintro’s provided Conversation Layer moves you towards scheduling an introductory/discovery meeting to keep things productive.

Rather than jumping into a dead-end chat, users are guided through structured prompts to help move the conversation toward meaningful outcomes while maintaining professional momentum.

You have 4 days in which to set up your real world meeting, else the conversation window expires. You can use Lintro’s internal scheduling tools to help plan your off-platform meeting if needed.

5. Meeting Conversion CTA

When a conversation hits that “sweet spot,” you’re turning that inital chat into a real-world business opportunity.

When you’ve agreed on date, time and location click the Scheduled Meeting confirmation button to lock in your connection.

Take pride in your ability to engage and connect with a sharable monthly champion card

You can share your meeting conversion with colleagues on social media if you choose to.

6. Verified Trust

In a world of anonymous profiles, Verification is key. Lintro offers ways to verify your professional identity and organizational status, helping you build trust instantly and ensuring that everyone in the network is who they say they are before you spend valuable time on a call.

Lintro is not a cold selling or CRM platform, in fact direct sales is frowned upon here, our focus is on helping you establish strong business highly relevant business relationships/partnerships.

Lintro’s daily drop mechanics and single pitch post, ensure high-volume spam and cold-selling do not work here.

Lintro is BIG on Trust

Trust, begins at login, where we ask you to sign-in with LinkedIn, this is our first trust-layer. (iOS users will be required to login with AppleID and then LinkedIn).

Next we ask you to confirm your email via a one-time password.

These layers help ensure a real person (not a bot) is registering on the platform.

If youe employer has provided a company seat you must use your company email address to unlock enterprise features when asked to confirm your email.

Doing so will confirm you as “Enterprise verified”.

“Enterprise verified”, is Lintro’s highest trust-layer.

To retain usage of enterprise seats you must re-verify your corporate email every 90 days to retain your seat. (This is an employment verification layer).

The more high-quality engagement you offer on the platform the higher-quality matches you are presented with.

Lintro uses a blind rating system, to help identify high-quality highly engaged B2B networking participants.

Those with low networking engagement or completions, get matched in a like for like lower quality pool.

8. Pausing Your Engagement

You have the ability to pause your Lintent/s or the entire app, without penalty to your profile’s trust/engagement layer.

This is ideal if you go on holiday, or just want to take a break from B2B networking on Lintro.

(IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are absent from participating and forget to pause your Lintent/s, you will be removed from matching pool after 15 days of inactivity, this will impact your position in our blind rating system and intent-engine. We highly recommend you pause the app when not engaged on the platform.)

In short, ghosting and poor engagement result in lower-quality matches over time.

Lintro’s Safety Features

Lastly, we offer report and blocking features as a final layer of safety and additional trust layer on the platform, should you feel the need to use them. We hope you never do.

9. Local Networking & Pitch Post

Sometimes, the best opportunities are right in your backyard.

Our Local Networking Search allows premium/enterprise users to discover relevant professionals within their own local area, fostering localised real-world B2B meetup opportunities.

For enterprise we take it a step further, you have the ability to seek and connect with people within your organisation by department and exclude your own department.

Enterprise unlocks the ability to seek matches externally, internally or a mix of both (hybrid). This selector is unlocked inside the enterprise tier.

The goal for enterprise is to breakdown the silos that can exist inside large organisations.

The Basic Tier, only offers global/remote connections and 1 free Lintent (daily drop).

Paid premium/enterprise offers up to 3 ‘Active’ Lintents and unlocks one ‘Active’ Pitch Post.

From Pitch Posts that let you broadcast specific opportunities without spamming a feed, to Schedule Matching Tools that eliminate the back-and-forth of calendar syncing, every piece of Lintro tech is designed for two things: trust and relevance.

And with that in mind, we have observed other platforms offering AI matching and have seen the bad reviews left on other platforms.

That’s why we intentionally decided to keep Lintro completely “AI Free”.
